London to Bordeaux by train

There are usually three options available for taking a journey by train from London to Bordeaux:

Making the transfer across central Paris from the Gare Du Nord, which is where the Eurostar will arrive, and the Gare Montparnasse, and then taking either:

  1. a regular TGV InOui train on to Bordeaux or,
  2. a more basic Ouigo train.
(If you will be travelling with a Eurail or InterRail pass you won't be able to travel on a Ouigo service).
  3. Or avoid the transfer between stations across Paris by making the much simpler transfer between stations in Lille.
