London to Torino / Turin by train

The route taken by the Paris to Torino / Turin trains has been closed until summer 2024, due to damage caused by a landslide.
Replacement bus services have now made available for international journeys along the closed section of the route, from a train which departs Paris daily at 14:48 - departing London at 09:31 allows two hours to cross Paris and make the connection.
The alternative route, involves travelling via Switzerland and Milano, with at least three connections and a journey time of more than 12 hours.

So the info below is currently not relevant!

It is usually entirely feasible to make a journey by train during the day from London to Torino/Turin.
The timings allow plenty of time to cross Paris, so you won't be rushing from the onward connection against the clock.
