Changing trains in: Paris

The Eurostar will arrive in Paris at the Gare Du Nord, but the train on to Barcelona will depart from the Gare De Lyon.

This guide explains how to make the transfer between the two stations by RER train.

Travel until Dec 14th 2019:

The afternoon train will depart Paris for Barcelona at 14:07 and the connecting Eurostar will depart from London daily at 09:24 - this train also calls at Ebbsfleet International.
It is scheduled to arrive in Paris at 12:47 so allows an 1hr 20 mins, for what should be an easy transfer across the city to the Gare De Lyon

Travel after Dec 15h 2019:

The departure of the afternoon train to Barcelona is being moved back an hour to a usual time of 15:08.

The optmum connection will then be available by taking the daily 10:24 Eurostar from London , which also calls at Ebbsfleet.
You will have 1hr 20mins to make the transfer across Paris from the Gare Du Nord to the Gare De Lyon.
So even if the Eurostar was to arrive in Paris 45 mins late you should still make the train on to Barcelona.

Making that transfer across Paris by RER train won't usually take more than 30 mins and you won't have to 'check-in' for the Barcelona train.
Though you will be connecting into the final direct train of the day from Paris to Barcelona

So an option is to split the booking into London to Paris and Paris to Barcelona journeys, so that you can set off from London before 09:00 - and give yourself even more time in Paris to make the connection.

Or on the dates when the direct Paris - Lyon train is  operating - it will returm to the schedules on to be confirmed dates in 2020 - an alternative is to avoid the need to transfer across Paris, by taking an alternative routing, which involves changing trains in Lyon.
