Changing trains in: Paris

The Eurostar will arrive in Paris at the Gare Du Nord, but the TGV on to Toulouse will depart from Paris Montparnasse station.

This guide explains how to make the transfer between the two stations using the Paris Metro.

*The connection that departs London at 08:18 on Saturdays has a longer journey time, due to a larger interval between the arrival and departure in Paris.

Take the 07:01 train from London on Mon - Fri and you will have more than 1hr 30 mins to make the transfer in Paris from the Gare Du Nord to the Gare Montparnasse.

But most of the other connections have a transfer time in Paris of around 1hr 5mins.

However, in the rare event of the Eurostar arriving in Paris 15 – 20 minutes late - making those fastest connections into the TGV on to Toulouse will become a race against time.

An option is to split the booking into London to Paris and Paris to Toulouse journeys so that you can set a connecting time that suits you – though doing so will be more expensive.

These journeys via Paris are the only viable option for a Paris to Toulouse journey by train (during the day).
There are no direct trains between Lille and Toulouse.
