Changing trains in: Paris

The Eurostar will arrive in Paris at the Gare Du Nord, but the TGV train on to Nice will depart from the Gare De Lyon.

This guide explains how to make the transfer between the two stations by RER train.

The London to Nice tickets do not include the transfer across Paris.

When making a booking, check the connection time between the arrival at Gare Du Nord and the departure from Gare De Lyon.

Most of the journeys have a connection time of between 1hr and 1hr 30mins - which should ensure that you won't be making the transfer across Paris against the clock!

The alternative journey options:

(1) From June 10th 2019 on Monday, Friday and Saturday it will be possible to take the Eurostar direct from London to Lyon and then connect there into a train on to Nice.

From June 30th this routing will also be an option on Sundays.

(2)There was an option of travelling via Lille, but the direct Lille to Nice train has been discontinued, though it MAY resume when the summer 2019 timetable is introduced.
