How to take the relatively new direct train services from the German capital to the Swedish capital

Berlin to Stockholm by train

Year round the Swedish national rail operator, SJ, is now providing a nightly full service sleeper train from Berlin to Stockholm.

Also on these dates in 2024 , there will be a choice between taking the SJ train or the Berlin Night Express, which is operated by Snälltåget - Jan 2nd-4th, March 25th-29th and then on every night except Saturday from Apr 1st to November 3rd.

Routes you can take to go from Berlin to Stockholm

When travelling between most cities by train there is only one logical option, though on other journeys there is a choice between different trains or alternative routes. If different options are available you can use the info to decide which is best for you.
