The Corsican Ferries depart from the Gare Maritime and bus line 3 (direction Mourillion) links the station to the ferry port; the buses are frequent during the day and the journey only takes 10 mins.

There are also less frequent TGV trains between Nice and Toulon, but they will be (slightly) more expensive and won't be any faster, so are best avoided on this route.
It's worth heading to the upper deck on the double deck trains and sitting on the right (when facing the direction of travel).
They are some fabulous sea views, particularly as the train approaches Toulon.
