Final destination: Göteborg C
Helsingborg station may not be included on the departure screens at København H station, so look for the trains heading Goteborg C.
Also avoid doing what we have done more than once - and confuse Helsingborg with Helsingor when looking at the departure information.
All trains also call at: CPH Lufthavn/Copenhagen Airport; Malmo C, Lund C
Departing from Kobenhavn/Copenhagen:
This train calls at Østerport and Nørreport stations before it will depart from København H station.
If you will be heading to Helsingborg from central Kobenhavn/Copenhagen or stations on the Kobenhaven Metro - including Kongens Nytorv (the closest station to Nyhavn) - the quickest and easiest option is to board these trains at Norreport.
At peak times the Oressundtag trains can be very busy, so finding seats available in 2nd class is not guaranteed if you board at København H station.

*prices will be in Swedish and not Danish krona.

Alternative route:
Another option is to take the train from Kobenhavn/Copenhagen to Helsingor and then take the ferry from Helsingor to Helsingborg.
There are up to 4 x ferries an hour during the day so you can take any train to Helsingor.
And even when factoring in the transfer from the train to ferry, this route via Helsingor can be quicker than taking the train; and there are some lovely views of Helsingborg/Elsinore Castle (the setting of Hamlet) to be seen on the left as the ferry departs from Helsingor.
Eurail and InterRail passes are valid on the ferry.
The train will travel between Denmark and Sweden on the Oresund Line.
After departure from CPH Lufthavn the train will enter a tunnel and then emerge on to a man-made island from which it will ascend on to The Oresund Bridge.
The train will spend around 3 - 4 mins travelling across the bridge.
However, don't expect spectacular views from the bridge; though travelling across it will be a thrill for engineering fans.
