Final Destination: Milano Centrale
If you want to make a day trip from Verona to Brescia, then target these trains and ignore the Frecce trains.
If you want to be spontaneous and book last minute at the station, then the Frecce trains are a very pricey option, for such a comparatively short journey.
Not only will you have to take specific trains if you opt to buy the discounted tickets for the Frecce trains, the journey time will be less than 15 mins faster.
14 - 18 x trains per day
Book early and save: No (not on these trains)
Tickets will cost the same price if purchased at the station immediately before departure.
These Regionale Veloce trains are always cheaper than the faster Frecciarossa trains - you can save a minimum of €5.
They'll be more than €10 cheaperr, if you'll be booking last minute at the station just before your journey; hence our suggestion that it's not worth taking those Frecce trains for this route.

After midday the departures are hourly, but the morning service of these Regionale trains is much more sparse.
On Monday to Fridays there are no departures usually scheduled between 09:43 and 12:43 and at weekends there are no departures usually scheduled between 09:43 and 11:43
Though as explained on our Italian Train Travel Guide this lack of late morning departures is fairly typical in Italy.
This train service is operated by Trenord and not Trenitalia.
After departure from Desenzano look out on the right for the view over Lake Garda.
