This new Nightjet service is now providing the only direct train from The Netherlands to north-west Switzerland.
The simplest option for travelling by day requires making an extended connection between ICE trains at Frankfurt (Main).
There are no direct daytime trains on this route:

However, due to the length of its route it is particularly susceptible to having it's timings altered.
