The station closest to the center of the village is named Grindelwald and it is terminus.
Though it is also an interchange station, as it as one end of a route taken by BOB trains from Interlaken and is at one end of the WAB route between Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg - connect for Jungfraujoch.

The base station of the Grindelwald First cable car is an 8 to 15 min walk through the village.
The cable car takes travellers up to the First Cliff Walk.

If your journey will be beginning on the southern side of the village, the WAB trains to and from Kleine Scheidegg also call at the station named Grindelwald Grund.

Grindelwald Terminal station

The trains from Interlaken call at a station confusingly named Grindelwald Terminal, before they terminate at the main station in the village.
Grindelwald Terminal now facilitates an easier transfer between the trains from and to Interlaken and two of the main cable car routes in the Berner Oberland;

(1) the Eiger Express

(2) the Mannlichen cable car route on to Wengen.
