How to buy tickets, what's on board the trains, how to use the stations, plus tips for making the journey
When travelling between most cities by train there is only one logical option, though on other journeys there is a choice between different trains or alternative routes. If different options are available you can use the info to decide which is best for you.
1hr 52min - 2hrs
Daily
Monday - Friday = 2 x trains per hour
Saturdays = 18 x trains (minimum of 1 x train per hour, but two departures per hour are available 17:00 - 20:00)
Sunday = 15 x trains (minimum of 1 x train per hour, but two departures per hour are available 14:00 - 15:00)
On Monday to Fridays the trains which typically depart London at around 16:15 and 19:15 are now non-stop from London to Bristol Parkway station, so have a journey time of only 1hr 45min.~
