These brand new trains are now operating all services on the Hamburg <> Copenhagen / Kobenhavn route.
They have transformed the service on the route by providing more seats per departure and modern facilities such as reliable wi-fi and on-board info screens.
They also don't have stairs by the doors for entering and exiting the coaches, as they are 'level-boarding' trains.
However, a step up when boarding and a step down when alighting is still required at every station except Hamburg Hbf and Padborg.
At Hamburg Hbf the doors are level with the platform, but at Padborg a set of steps on the platform has to be used.

If you can't find the information you are seeking, you can ask a question and the AI enabled service will try to write an answer, telling you what you wish to know.
ShowMeTheJourney is yet to travel by these trains, hence the image at the top of the page has been taken from the Talgo website, as the company has manufactured these trains.
The locomotives assigned to these trains have a maximum speed of 200 km/h (125 mph).
When booking tickets reservations are now only automatically included in these two scenarios:
When booking any other type of ticket between September 2nd and May 31st, reservations can be added for an additional fee - €5.50 in 2nd class and €6.90 in 1st class.
Note that adding a reservation to the booking guarantees a seated place(s) on the train, but it isn't possible to choose a type of seat, such as at a table, by a window etc.
No, this isn't possible.
They are mandatory from 1 June to 1 September for international journeys, but they are optional on all other journeys by these trains.

Yes.
Yes, these trains have been fitted with bike racks, but tickets are required.
If you purchase a ticket on the DB website, you can add a bike when booking
Small dogs which can be placed in pet-carriers can be taken on board any train as hand luggage and there is no charge for doing so.
Dogs which can't be fitted in carrier/container, because they are larger than a typical domestic cat, require tickets,
So when booking online for a journey by ICE or IC trains with DB, the German national rail operator, add a larger dog as 'a passenger'.
The price charged will be 50% of the adult rate
If you want to travel 1st class you will need a 1st class ticket for the dog.
The most notable feature of these trains is that there are no steps inside the doors and most of the seats throughout the trains are on the same level as the doors.
So most of the seats have step-free access.
However there are raised seating areas in the Second Class coaches at both ends of the train.
The Second Class coaches at the ends of the train also house the storage areas for bicycles and strollers etc
The First Class coaches are in the middle of the train's formation
Note that if you book 1st class tickets your seats will be some distance from the areas on the train in which larger items can be placed such as non-folding bicycles and prams.
The seat numbers are on electronic panels on the sides of the seats facing the aisle.
