Departing from Warzaw/Warszawa:

These trains cross the city from east to west - so they call first at Warszawa Wschodnia station, which is on the eastern side of the city centre.

If you will be commencing a journey in the vicinity of the old town, you can take tram line/route 13 direct from the 'Stare Miasto' stop direct to Wschodnia station.

They then call at Warszawa Centralna - the main station in the city, which is why we've used it for the orange station info button, which can be clicked above

After departing from Warszawa Centralna these trains will then call at Warszawa Zachodnia.

So check the location of the starting point of your journey, to see which of these three stations will suit you best.

As will be seen when looking up journeys on PKP InterCity, the train service between Warsaw and Toruń  is split between these IC trains and TLK trains and the fastest of those TLK services come close to matching the journey time of these IC trains.

There are no EIP or EIC trains on this route.

The cheapest advance tickets for these IC trains are the same price as those slower TLK trains, but unless you can be very flexible with your departure/arrival times, you may as well take whatever train suits you, irrespective of whether it is an IC or TLK service.

Though when the cheapest discounted tickets for these IC trains have sold out, the TLK trains are cheaper.

Good to Know

As per usual when taking a long-distance express train route in Poland, there are cheaper TLK trains available when making a train journey from Warsaw to Torun.

Though on this route these IC services can cost a similar price to the alternative TLK services - also at your preferred travel time there's unlikely to be a choice between the IC and TLK services, they tend to depart in different hours.

And as the total train service on this route, isn't particularly frequent, the departure/arrival time can matter more than the ticket price, or the type of train service you will be travelling by.
