If you want to head to the city centre from the station, the best alternative to heading off on foot is to take the free shuttle bus which departs every 5 minutes - though note that it leaves from a stop to the right of the bus station, which is in front of the train station exit.
It's city centre stop is on the north side of the Grote Markt in the heart of the city.

Regular bus routes/lines 1, 4. 6, 11 and 12 connect the station to the stop named Dijver which is to the south of the Grote Markt.

Hotels with easy access to the station:

The overwhelming majority of accommodation in Brugge is inevitably located in its historic city centre, but if you arrive by train and have luggage then jumping in a taxi is the logical means of getting to your hotel.

If you would prefer to stay within a 10 min walk of Brugge Central station, the options are much more limited, there are no 5* hotels in the area.
