GoVolta is a new Dutch based rail operator that provides international trains between The Netherlands and Germany
GoVolta offers an upgrade to Comfort Class when booking.
In common with First Class on other European IC trains, the Comfort has larger seats which are arranged 2 + 1 across the aisle instead of 2 + 2.
You can opt to choose specific seats including these single seats when booking.
All seats in Comfort Class are table seats.
For those opting to travel in Economy Class am option is to upgrade to XL Duo, which in effect also purchases the bay seat opposite, so that nobody else will sit there, enabling luggage to be stored on these seats.
Also legs can be stretched out into this space.
However, the cost of the upgrade to XL Duo can be less than €5 more expensive than the upgrades to Comfort Class.
Accessible seating is also provided.
The plan is for Lounge Cars which will in effect be on board cafes will be added to the train formations in the coming months. so for now food and drink need to be taken on board.
Regardless of the seats / upgrades selected when booking the the ticket cots covers two pieces of hand luggage, one with a maximum dimensions of 55 × 40 × 25 cm and one smaller piece with maximum dimensions of 30 × 20 × 15 cm.
An additional larger suitcase cam be taken for a surcharge which can be added when booking.
Both non-folding bicycles and pets cannot be taken on board
Tickets are required for travel, no rail passes are valid.
