An Interjet train These InterJet trains are used on the Prague - Karlovy Vary - Cheb route
An InterPanter train These new InterPanter trains are being introduced on some routes

CD, the Czech national operator, splits its Regional / R services into multiple categories, the quickest of which are categorised as 'Fast' trains.

Different types of train are assigned per route, with the newer 'InterPanter' trains being used on these routes - according to the superbly useful Vagonweb website

  • 'Moravan': Olomouc - Breclav
  • 'Svitava': Praha - Brno (semi-fast) = InterPanter
Key feature of these InterPanter trains is that they have level boarding, vending machines for drinks and snacks and bicycle storage racks.

While the trains on the 'Krušnohor': Praha - Usti-Nab-Lemen - Karlovy Vary - Cheb route are typically of the very smart Interjet type

Though most routes are operated by older types of loco-hauled coaches which are more variable, hence not all services have 1st class, seating, power sockets or catering.
