The couchette compartments, which are not available on the Praha - Linz - Zurich route have either 4 or 6 berths, with the former being more expensive.
In the 6 person compartment, the top berths are closer to the ceiling of the compartment.

There are no washing facilities in the compartment, but there are sinks in the WCs at both ends of a corridor.

  • A bottle of mineral water
  • A blanket, sheets and a pillow with a clean pillow case - the passenger makes the bed

On all routes, except Zurich - Linz - Praha, these trains also convey 2nd class seats.

On the routes between Praha and Kosice, Krakow, Warsaw and Zurich via Linz, two types of sleeping cabin are available, Economy and Deluxe - with the key difference between them being that the Deluxe cabins house a shower cubicle, sink and toilet, but the Economy cabins house only a sink with toilets and showers available at the end of each coach.

Both types of cabin can be booked for single use (1 person) or for double (2 person) and and triple (3 person) use.
The Deluxe and Economy cabins have three beds arranged bunk style, but when booked for single use two of the beds will be folded away; and when booked for double use, the top bunk will be folded out of use.

When travelling alone its possible to opt to travel in a 1 person, 2 person or 3 person cabin.
When two people* are travelling together its possible to opt for a 2 person or 3 person cabin
*= The 2 and 3 person cabins are segregated into male and female only unless a male/female couple share a booking and in this instance a 2 person cabin for sole use by the couple will be automatically offered.
