A gateway to The Cotswolds

Multiple stations located along the railway route between Oxford and Worcester are within The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but what sets Moreton-in-Marsh apart, is that multiple local bus routes / lines also serve the station.

These include bus route / line 801, which is the primary bus service in the northern, and most visited, part of The Cotswolds.
It operates hourly and connects the station to:

On Mondays to Saturdays, connect in Bourton-on-the-Water with hourly bus route / line 855 to and from Bibury.

Bus routes / lines 1 and 1A link Moreton in Marsh station to Broadway with 3 x departures per day.

Bus routes / lines 1 and 1A and link the station to Chipping Camden with up to 7 x departures per day

At the station

Moreton-in-Marsh station serves a comparatively small town, so it lacks some of the facilities which can typically be found at larger stations, so it lacks left luggage storage and a taxi rank - though it's centrally located, so the key locations in the town are within a 5 minute walk.

It also doesn't have a lift / elevator link between the station entrance / exit and the trains heading to London, but as can be seen at the top of the page, a new footbridge has been recently installed, that can be accessed by both stairs and gently sloping ramps.
