At Manchester Piccadilly, these trains use the part of the station which is furthest away from its main entrance, so if the starting point of your journey will be in central Manchester and you have seat reservations, boarding at Oxford Road can be a good option.
These trains also call at Rhyl and Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Junction; connect in Llandudno Junction for Bangor (see note below) and Blaenau Ffestiniog

At these times on Monday to Friday at 08:52; 09:53 and 17:52, there are direct trains from Manchester to Holyhead via Bangor; which have connections at Llandudno Junction station into trains on to Llandudno.
From the right of the train there are sea views to be seen between Flint and Prestatyn and then between Rhyl and Colwyn Bay.
