Shrewsbury's beautiful station is arranged that so that the main station building, which houses its ticket hall with the station's entrance / exit is located along side platform 3.
This platform is typically used by TFW Rail trains which have travelled from Cardiff and will be heading to Manchester, Holyhead or Crewe

A passage way under the railway tracks gives access to and from platforms 4 to 7, and there are lifts / elevators at both ends of the passage way, to provide an alternative to using the stairs

Though check the station map if you will require step-free access, as at the time of writing it is showing one of these lifts as being unavailable.

Platforms 4 to 7 are typically used by trains heading to Aberystwyth, Birmingham, Cardiff, Carmarthen, Chester, Fishguard, Holyhead (trains from Birmingham) and Pwlhelli.
